Hi I am Jim and this is my garden It is now August 2003 and above you see my A truss of Tomato a Golden Sunrise from 19th August it is cropping time for  tomatoes cucumber potato courgette raspberries and soon Peppers my Kohl Rabi has been attacked in Greenhouse by caterpillars saw to late to save it Just as well it was the only thing they liked in the greenhouse Heat wave is by to be replaced by low 7.5c and thanked for rain.

here you see one of my hanging baskets containing Balconi and Tiny Tim plants and my crowded small greenhouse showing my Brasero plants in their final pots with cauliflower lettuce courgette and turnip in the background.

I take blame for poor quality of some of the photos batteries running out and forgot to change setting back after taking close up of my first tomato

Noted germination started of Brasero19th with 2 leaves 20th others starting to break surface

Cucumbers
Bought 2 plants on Friday 5th April all female and sowed 3 seeds of Brigit and Petita both also all female (no male flowers to remove) may plans doing fine about to flower
cropping with 2 bought plants and 1 of Brigit and Petita almost daily

Peppers
Sowed 3 varieties on 6th of April World beater Sweet Delight and Yellow ball ready for transplanting growing well now in 3" pots
now in flower

Melon
s
own and germinated banana melon and cantelope now potted in to 8" pots flowering hoping for results soon

Watermelon
s
own and germinated sugar baby now potted flowering

Courgette
Have sown 3 seed only 1 germinated is now planted and on 5th April bought two plants have now planted these and now sown more seeds for outdoors see indoor plant in photos above cropping well from inside plants outdoor ones still establishing

Runner bean
s
own polestar  starting to germinate have 4 plant have sown more planted and in flower

Onion
Planted onion Stutgarter Sets in pots in March  and most are planted now have first delivery of plants to plant planted and growing well

Garden Peas
Pea Misty Sown in Rowan Pipe and was planted 22 April doing just fine eaten and now finished

Other Vegetables
Garlic potted up same time as onion sets are  now planted
have bought Lettuce Cauliflower Broccoli Parsley and Cabbage now planted in pots and raised bed  now cropping lettuce now finished cabbage eaten by slugs but cauliflower a sucess picked last 2 today parsley just romps away

April photos

my back door looking tidier and onions planted.

Daffodils left their one summer and forgot about must reuse next year and my rowan pipe peas and onions.

here you see my 8ft hydroponic tray with courgette peas onion and garlic then my propagator showing Tomato Tiny Tim and Brasero with all female cucumber plants (4).
